Jay Robotham’s busy motorsport schedule for 2024 will expand into the world of GT3 racing, with confirmation of a partial campaign in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia aboard a Mercedes-AMG for Climax Racing. At this stage, the events at the Chang International Circuit in Thailand, Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia, and the Fuji International Speedway are confirmed, with Robotham set to line up alongside Chinese driver Min Heng. The Secure Wealth Advisers BMW M4 of Simon Hodges, Jayden Ojeda and George Miedecke has won the 2024 Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour after another thrilling conclusion to the production car marathon. The race appeared to be in the hands of the Bruce Lynton Service BMW M3 of Beric Lynton/Tim Leahey/Will Davison until a gearbox issue for Davison inside the final half an hour helped deliver Ojeda the race win. Two-time Bathurst 1000 winner Will Davison has set the fastest time in the final Friday session of the Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour. Davison and fellow Supercars driver Thomas Randle both went under the 2m 24s bracket in their BMW’s, covered by just eight hundredths of a second having posted their laps on their first and second flying laps respectively.
