SA Bonanza for Blend Line TV

Fans of grassroots motorsports are in for a treat, with a host of additional racing set to be broadcast live and free from South Australia’s Shell V-Power Motorsport Park at The Bend, with Blend Line TV enlisted to cover a range of key events.

Included in the mix that has currently been confirmed is the second visit Downunder by the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia, as well as three highlight rounds of the SA Motor Racing Championship, each with their own distinct headline acts.

From the SA Motor Racing Championship slate, the May 4-5 event will include FIA Formula 4, the May 25-26 meet will feature the Toyota 86 Scholarship Series, while the November 22-23 date will cover the 777 Endurance Crown on the full 7.77km long GT Circuit.

Meanwhile, the June 8-9 return of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia will feature a stacked undercard, including Formula 4, Formula Open, the Australian Prototype Series and Radical Cup Australia.

All events include a mix of local classes, such as the massively entertaining Hyundai Excels, Improved Production, MGs, Sports Sedans, Formula Vees, Saloon Cars, HQ Holdens, Porsche 944s, and more.

For Blend Line TV, the prospect of promoting these key events to the outlet’s already extensive following is an exciting one.

“Our previous visits to The Bend have been great, especially last year with the Motorsport Australia Trophy Series and the inaugural visit by the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia, the crew at the circuit have always been fantastic to work with.

“We’re especially looking forward to working again with Wayne Williams as Manager at The Bend.

“Wayne was one of the first to book Blend Line for a live broadcast as a company back in 2016, and we’re looking forward to now being part of building the SA Motorsport offering.

“We feel that the coverage we produce provides value for all – it gives competitors and their sponsors great exposure, it allows friends and family from around the country and the world to tune in, plus, by broadcasting live and free, we are essentially promoting future events at The Bend to a massive audience.

“Also, the November event on the full GT Circuit is going to be a great challenge that we can’t wait to get stuck into.”

Elsewhere on Blend Line TV’s schedule of events is its comprehensive coverage of the Victorian State Race Series from Phillip Island (June 28-29 and October 5-6), Sandown Raceway (August 24-25) and Calder Park (October 26-27).

Of note, rounds four and five from Sandown and Phillip Island will feature the Australian Formula Ford Series.

In other programming currently slated, Blend Line TV will broadcast the Australian Formula Open and Australian Formula Ford racing from Winton Motor Racing on April 27-28, plus the Winton 300 from August 10-11.

Additionally, further key meets are currently in the planning stage.
