Porsches Arrive in NZ

THE Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia field has landed in New Zealand as the championship prepares to race internationally for just the second time in its history. 19 Type-992 Porsche GT3 Cup Cars and an array of team equipment, spare parts and infrastructure arrived in New Zealand last week, cleared customs, and were delivered to Taupo Motorsport Park circuit, three hours South of Auckland, on Monday this week. OSCAR TARGETT has slammed home the quickest lap in qualifying to score the first pole position of the 2024 Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge Australia season, at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.  The Queensland teenager set a Sprint Challenge-record 1m30.3286s flyer to top a competitive session held in overcast conditions on a Friday afternoon.
