Hot Petronas Wildcard Revealed

The Blanchard Racing Team (BRT) Supercars endurance wildcard Ford Mustang of Aaron Love and Jake Kostecki will sport a spectacular PETRONAS livery at the upcoming Bathurst 1000. Moving on from the Racer Industries theme that debuted at the Sandown 500, the PETRONAS livery draws inspiration from the similar colour scheme employed by the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team. The PETRONAS brand’s involvement in Supercars in Australia dates back to 2019 when team Co-Principal Tim Blanchard introduced the look as a wildcard entry in Western Australia, and later in Super2 competition. Bathurst 1000: The Wildcard Rollercoaster

They claim many of the headlines heading into the Great Race - and over the past 14 years, the Bathurst 1000 wildcard fleet has experienced a rollercoaster ride on track. The 2009 edition of the Great Race marked the first time since 2004 that entries outside of the regular championship runners were accepted into the Bathurst 1000. Since then, there have been many interesting attempts, some with considerable fanfare and high expectations, others with solid results after 161 laps. Bathurst 1000: Bathurst City Guide

Welcome to Bathurst, one of our favourite places on earth. Team TRT loves the place - obviously, there’s Mount Panorama, but the downtown of Australia's oldest inland settlement makes the pilgrimage to the Great Race entirely worthwhile. Want proof? Late last year, we penned a feature on holidaying on Mount Panorama, and we followed through, taking our annual family vacation to the city, and it was a certified ripper. This obsession has brought us to the point where we have done the maths, and considering the five major events hosted at Mount Panorama annually, it is almost economically feasible for
