Here's the last element in our Le Mans 24 Hour diary series, this time with an incredible selection of images contributed by the great Andrew 'Skippy' Hall. IT'S SIX FIFTEEN in the morning. The sun rises early here this time of year, but this morning it's shrouded in cloud - the last vestiges of weather that had swept across the area the evening before, causing all the usual rain related chaos that rain usually causes. As a result, the resulting pre dawn gloom feels like it lasts for an eternity, failing to shake the final throws of night until it's

Southern Queensland will have another fully national spec quarter mile drag strip operational this year, with progress on the revamped Warwick Dragway closing in on completion. Located adjacent to Morgan Park Raceway in the busy Morgan Park sporting precinct on the outskirts of the Darling Downs town, the Warwick Dragway until now had been a busy one-eighth mile strip, although initially designed with the runoff space to allow for this eventual upgrade. In 2020, confirmation of federal funding to the tune of $1.9 million paved the way for the project to commence in 2021. Despite setbacks caused by terrible weather

From feel-good underdog race winners to genuinely serious issues facing the sport today, these are the Hot & Nots Power Ranked from a big weekend in the NT. Of course, we have slid some WHATS and MEMEs in there, too, for your enjoyment. ABOUT THE RANKINGS: The TRT Power Rankings are compiled by your nominations from social media and edited by the TRT editorial team. They’re designed to give a balanced, as fair as possible critical overview of those things that excelled and those things that struggled at each event. It’s (mostly) a democracy, and what you nominate generates the order,

Bathurst Regional Council has received notification that Federal Government funding of $12.5 million for the development of a second circuit at Mount Panorama has been withdrawn. The two grants of $10 million and $2.5 million included requirements for constructing a facility and the money spent by June 2026. Mayor Robert Taylor said Council had sought to re-purpose the funds for the growth and development of current facilities at Mount Panorama. “Unfortunately, we were advised this didn’t align with the intent of the original grant funding,” he said. “The project is on hold for now, but Council strongly supports development of
